New Bellingham Chiropractic Practice

JUN 8, 2011 - BELLINGHAM - Earlier this year Barney Roca opened IN8 Family Chiropractic at the Bakerview Square retail center in Bellingham. The practice offers a variety of chiropractic services. While patients with jobs and/or insurance pay the normal fees, the practice offers a "box on the wall" approach for uninsured patients suffering financial hardship. A new Bellingham chiropractic office has been finding success with an unusual payment model.

Earlier this year Barney Roca opened IN8 Family Chiropractic at the Bakerview Square retail center in Bellingham. The practice offers a variety of chiropractic services. While patients with jobs and/or insurance pay the normal fees, the practice offers a "box on the wall" approach for uninsured patients suffering financial hardship. For those patients, they are offered the opportunity to put something in the box to help pay for the services.

"The 'box on the wall' approach is going very well," said Roca in an email. "As I write this email a patient is cleaning the windows (instead of) making a cash payment. The purpose of my practice is to help as many people as possible, not to collect as much money as possible."

The practice is at 436 W. Bakerview Road and is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For details, call 360-510-6000 or visit in8familychiropractic.com.
